Where natural wood challenges gravity
Wood is natural material and commonly used in traditional and stable furniture structures. We like to challenge ourselves permanently and rediscover the limits of weight, balance and lightness. We tested several wood joints and achieve a very strong and beautiful result with one of them. This tea table borns from a very simple group of parts that form a strong whole.
Achieving such minimal form is in fact a strong challenge since we insisted that this design kept the concept of natural wood joinery and banning the use of screws and nails.
The assembling of this puzzle is a brain challenge on itself. It is very easy to assemble physically the group, though you must be completely focus to complete the task. The result is a very elegant and sophisticated tea table.
Poplar wood is it’s default finishing. But this tea table design is also available in several other finishings by special order. Feel free to contact us if you have any other suggestion or need.
